Meet the Team

Heather Watson

Owner-Partner


Heather Watson is the President and co-owner of Select Property Management Group, bringing over 30 years of real estate expertise to the helm of the company. Under her leadership, Select Property Management Group has grown into a trusted name known for its exceptional customer service, operational excellence, and consistently high satisfaction ratings from both property owners and tenants.


Heather has earned recognition for her forward-thinking, innovative approach to property management, combining industry insight with a deep understanding of what clients and tenants truly value. Her success stems from a powerful blend of perseverance, tenacity, and outstanding negotiation and communication skills—qualities that have helped build lasting relationships and a strong reputation within the property management industry.


At the heart of Heather’s leadership philosophy is a mission to transform the property management experience into a positive, seamless process for everyone involved. She leads with integrity, strives to exceed client expectations at every turn, and remains deeply committed to delivering superior service.


Outside of the office, Heather enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time near the water, and doting on her beloved fur babies.


Jennifer "Jen" Johnson

Owner-Partner


Jen joined Select Property Management Group in 2021 as the Maintenance Coordinator and, through her dedication and leadership, became co-owner of the business in 2024. With a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to follow-through, Jen plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless coordination among vendors, property owners, and tenants. Her top priority is delivering a high level of satisfaction to all stakeholders, consistently fostering trust and reliability.


Before entering the property management industry, Jen built a successful 20-year career as a Quality Manager at Citibank. Her extensive experience in quality assurance and customer service solidified her belief that customers—regardless of industry—are an organization’s most valuable asset. Jen is passionate about enhancing the customer experience and brings this mindset to every aspect of her work.


Originally from Kokomo, Indiana, Jen spent four years living in Panama while her husband served in the U.S. Air Force. In 1998, they settled in San Antonio, where they have built lasting roots. Outside of work, Jen enjoys spending quality time with her family, experimenting with new recipes, and staying active through regular workouts.



Katherine "Kathy" Zuniga

Lead Property Manager


A seasoned professional with over 20 years in the property management industry, I’ve built a career on delivering dependable, efficient, and tenant-focused service. I joined Select Property Management Group in 2022, bringing with me decades of experience in managing residential properties across San Antonio.


As a proud San Antonio native, I take personal pride in helping our city’s communities grow and thrive. My approach is hands-on and people-first focused on clear communication, proactive maintenance, and protecting the value of every property under my care.


Outside the office, I’m all about enjoying life. You’ll often find me hanging out with my partner,  shooting pool, catching live music around town, or planning our next travel adventure. I’m a proud parent to four amazing kids and share my home with one ridiculously lazy (and very loved) dog. As an animal lover, I believe every pet deserves a warm place to call home just like people do.


I live by the belief that “just because something is over doesn’t mean it wasn’t incredibly beautiful,”a reminder from Taylor Swift that resonates both in life and in the ever-changing world of property management.

Rachel Rodriguez-Kendall

Property Manager


Rachel’s real estate career began in 2016 and she quickly found a love for property management. She has over a decade of experience in customer service. Rachel has a passion for people and prides herself in providing top tier service. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her two beautiful daughters and husband. 

Chelsie Summers

Property Manager


I have been actively involved in property management since 2009, gaining experience across many areas including leasing, tenant relations, owner communication, inspections, and vendor coordination. Over the years, I have developed a strong understanding of both the operational and customer-service sides of the industry. I pride myself on being proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to creating a smooth experience for both owners and tenants. My goal is always to protect the investment of our clients while ensuring tenants feel respected and well cared for.


Beyond my career, I am married and a proud mother to my miracle son, Levi. Family is my greatest joy, and in my free time I enjoy traveling, sightseeing, reading, and creating lasting memories with my loved ones. I carry a positive and forward-thinking outlook into both my work and personal life, and I believe each day is an opportunity to show up as the best version of ourselves.



Patricia "Pat" Sankey

Broker


Pat has been involved in some manner of client service across several lines of work.  Following a planned early corporate retirement from I/T at USAA, she built a successful career in residential real estate sales and ultimately founded Select Property Managment Group, LLC to elevate the level of service for residential property management for both owners and tenants.  Pat highly values her team members who each understand & reflect the values of honesty, integrity, loyalty, and a sense of joy in their daily work.  She attributes the company’s success to each team member working to deliver personalized excellence for our client’s needs each day. In her time off Pat enjoys her family, including 4 adult children, 2 bonus daughters  and 10 grandkids as well as gardening, a bit of travel, and community involvement.
